<image:title>Vanishing of the Bees - VANISHING OF THE BEES</image:title>
<image:caption>Our bees are vanishing and we have the power to help. Vanishing of the Bees, a feature-length documentary narrated by Ellen Page (Juno), takes a piercing investigative look at the economic, political and spiritual implications of the world wide disappearance of the honeybee, a potential ecological apocalypse that could topple our food chain and forever devastate our way of life. Winner Best Documentary Idyllwild Film Festival 2011 From the dawn of society, the nature and origin of the honeybee has awakened the curiosity and interest of man. In the past five million years, this furry insect has been a creature of special sanctity, representing many things such as the human soul, industry, cooperation and the sacred feminine. Our relationship with bees also denotes the most ancient form of agriculture. Today, however a mysterious phenomenon, known as “Colony Collapse Disorder,” is killing the honeybee; they’re disappearing all over the planet and nobody is quite sure why. A third of our diet is pollinated by the honeybee. Modern agriculture depends on this furry insect for most of our fruits and vegetables and to create clover and alfalfa to feed livestock... Crops relying on honeybee pollination are estimated at $14 billion every year in the US alone. Last year beekeepers suffered losses of up to ninety percent of their bees.&nbsp If Colony Collapse Disorder strikes again, the commercial beekeepers hit by the syndrome will go bankrupt.</image:caption>

<image:title>Pay 2 Play - PAY 2 PLAY</image:title>
<image:caption>Congress sells us out to the highest bidders - donors. But our democracy is too precious not to fight for. In January 2010, the Supreme Court decision Citizens United vs. FEC declared that corporations could spend unlimited amounts to affect our elections. But even before then, politicians have been listening to their donors, not the voters. PAY 2 PLAY takes a look at the obstacles in running for office by creatively wrapping the experience around a board game parallel, with compelling insight into both the corruption that flourishes under our current campaign process, as well as exposing revelations about Citizens United. The film explores an array of campaign reform opportunities, proven legislation, and movements underway to reclaim America's democracy.</image:caption>

<image:title>Side Effects - SIDE EFFECTS</image:title>
<image:caption>A Smart and Sexy Comedy! SIDE EFFECTS is romantic comedy that is sure to make you laugh and open your eyes to a world you probably had little idea existed – legal drug dealers. This satirical look at the pharmaceutical industry, as told through the eyes of a pharmaceutical sales rep, is loosely based on writer/director Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau's decade as a pharmaceutical sales rep. Katherine Heigl of Grey’s Anatomy does a bang up job as Karly Hert. Karly Hert (Katherine Heigl) has spent the last ten years selling drugs... legally, that is. She works for one of corporate America`s darlings, the pharmaceutical industry. Karly has it all - a big salary, a company car, a closet full of hot business suits and a growing pit in her stomach... Everything changes when she meets sexy Zach Danner (Lucian McAfee), a down-to-earth guy. Sparks fly! As their relationship heats up, he encourages Karly to walk her talk and leave her empty job. Karly devises a plan to get out - she begins being brutally honest with physicians about her drugs` "benefits." Ironically, her sales go through the roof and she is once again wooed by the seductive golden handcuffs. Somehow leaving is never quite as easy as it seems... Side Effects starring Katherine Heigl is the perfect prescription for a new comedy. Available nationwide in stores from Warner Bros. “Savagely Funny” Jeanne Lenzer, British Medical Journal "Side Effects is riveting, funny and insightful." Dr. Mehmet Oz, Oprah & Friends “Fun, funny, insightful, and profoundly disturbing.” Shannon Brownlee, Investigative Medical Journalist “Drop dead fascinating” Deborah Ray, Healthy Talk Radio</image:caption>

<image:title>Bonsai People - The Vision of Muhammad Yunus - BONSAI PEOPLE - THE VISION OF MUHAMMAD YUNUS</image:title>
<image:caption>Using social business to solve some of the world's most vexing problems. What if you could harness the power of the free market to solve the problems of poverty, hunger, and inequality? To some, it sounds impossible. But Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus is doing exactly that. BONSAI PEOPLE celebrates Yunus’ extraordinary humanitarian work, which started when he simply lent $27 to 42 people out of his own pocket. As the founder of Grameen Bank, Yunus pioneered microcredit, the innovative banking program that provides poor people - mainly women - with small loans they use to launch businesses and lift their families out of poverty. In the past thirty years, microcredit has spread to every continent and benefited over 100 million families. His Grameen Bank currently lends to one out of every 1,000 people on earth and with a 98% rate of return – unheard of in the financial world. But Yunus didn’t stop there. Now, Yunus goes beyond microcredit to pioneer the idea of social business - a completely new way to use the creative vibrancy of business to tackle social problems from poverty and pollution to inadequate health care and lack of education. BONSAI PEOPLE shows how Yunus - in partnership with some of the world’s most visionary businesses - is launching purposely designed social ventures. From collaborating with Danone to produce affordable, nutritious yogurt for malnourished children in Bangladesh to building eyecare hospitals that will save hundreds of thousands of poor people from blindness. BONSAI PEOPLE offers an emotionally compelling look into his visionary work. While Yunus didn’t invent the notion of doing business for social good – it is a concept that needed a leader, Yunus has become that person. The Millennium Development Goal to cut poverty in half by 2015 is one of the most courageous goals mankind has ever set for itself. The question is how?</image:caption>

<image:caption>Two groups get kids off the streets and break the cycle of domestic violence. In the beautiful coastal city of Recife, Brazil - a world capital for sex tourism - a couple of determined women decided they would try to break the cycle of domestic violence and get kids off the streets. Hummingbird goes onto the streets and sees the harsh reality these kids face and shows how these programs help break the cycle, using what they call the pedagogy of affection. The film follows the story of Adriana, a girl who left home at the age of six and had a daughter at age 11. After seeing the cycle that leads kids to the street, these women began addressing family issues at the root of the problem and working with both the mind and body to overcome their trauma.</image:caption>
